Cementoblastoma(True Cementoma)

Cementoblastoma is also called as true cementoma and its a benign odontogenic tumor originating from mesenchyme.
seen in people under the age of 25.
Common in mandible and that too in posterior part of jaws i.e. in relation to premolars and molars.
Cementoblastoma commonly presents with pain and associated swelling due to bony expansion of the buccal and lingual aspects of the alveolar ridges 
Always attached to the apical portion of root.
Causes root resorption.
D/D-Osteoblastoma and osteosarcoma
T/m-The treatment of choice for cementoblastoma is complete excision of the mass with removal of the affected tooth
